At SJB Animal Care Center, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. This all starts with a warm hello for you and a yummy treat for your pet.
Our hospital opened its doors in 1986 and offers a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs and cats in Jacksonville. We’re located at 2520 St. John’s Bluff Road, and we have ample space for parking within a safe, low traffic area for your pet.

What To Expect at Your Appointment
SJB Animal Care Center is an inviting and comfortable environment.
We want your visit to SJB Animal Care Center to be the best veterinary experience you ever had! We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your pet.
When you check in with our front desk you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members. Another team member will then meet you in the lobby and bring you to an examination room where we’ll ask a few questions about your visit – just like when you go for a visit to your doctor!
A doctor will then meet you and your pet and spend some time talking with you to address your concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan.
If additional testing is needed, SJB Animal Care Center is a modern facility with diagnostic equipment and an in-house laboratory, so most tests can be performed here.
